Double crossing Mayor!!!

In a bizarre case of double crossing , the Police has asked Prosecutors to file kidnapping charges against Al-varej Isnaji, Mayor of Indanan town in Jolo southern Phillipines. The crew of ABS-CBN TV and a university professor acting as he guide had gone missing on 8th June. They had gone to interview senior leader of Abu Sayyaf who has links with Al-Qaeda. During the nine day hostage drama, the Mayor had warned authorities , the hostages would be beheaded if the ransom of 5 million Pesos was not paid. Pretending to negotiate the deal to release the network’s presentor Cecilia Drilon and three others from muslim militants ,he kept 60% of ransom for himself!!!! National Police Chief Avelino Razon told how an undercover cop saw Drilon’s brother handing the money to the Mayor at his home. He showed two photos of the Mayor counting the money with the undercover cop and a witness who will testify how 2 million pesos were given to militants while he kept the remaining 3 million, yet another feather in the image of corrupt politician.
