I love Malaysia traveling around Malaysia as well and I would say the place with the most historical bang for your buck would have to be Malacca with its fascinating history of Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, Arab, and English interactions with the outside world.

Much of the historical sites from these interactions can still be seen throughout Malacca today. Great place and I would say a must see for anyone visiting Malaysia.
